Our philosophy is to offer vans that are comfortable and cheap to hire, with more thought and room given to a comfortable bed, than a normal camper.
We run four levels of vehicle called the Sleeper Van, Standard Van and Deluxe Pop-Top Van.

The Sleeper Van– Nissan Vanette, Toyota Town Ace, Tarago etc, basically a smaller van and a bed on wheels, and the cheapest of our vans. BYO sleeping bags. Comes with an esky, table and chairs, and you can hire a linen kit and/or a cooking/picnic kit.Rental Cost: from $40 per day + optional cooking/picnic kit and linen kit @ $3 each per day. |

The Standard Camper Van– Mazda E2000 & 2200, Ford Econovan long wheel base, Toyota Hi-Ace long wheel base etc. 90s model vans in very good condition.Rental Cost: from $50 per day. |

Deluxe Pop-Top Vans– Got a little more in the budget?? But still don't want to pay the exorbitant rates of many companies? Here's your answer! These recent model vans all have power steering, air conditioning and have been custom fitted out this year.Rental Cost: from $75 per day. |
We have removed the CD players and TVs from vans due to constant flat battery problems. TVs are a complete waste of time in Tassie, as soon as you get over the hill from Hobart, no reception! You may have to resort to talking to people, and going to the local pub.
Important Bits...
The minimum rental period on all vehicles is 5 days except for 1/12 - 28/2 (10 days minimum). Vehicles are restricted to Tasmania.
- Pick up/drop off is Hobart only.
- Vehicles are only allowed on sealed roads as per rental agreement.
- All vehicles are covered for roadside assistance via the RACT.
- Unlimited klm are included in the price.
- We supply one free bottle of gas on the standard and Deluxe Vans.
- No pets are allowed in the vehicles.
- Vehicles are to be returned clean and with a full tank of petrol.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vans.
- A 1.5% credit charge fee will be required.
The refundable damage deposit is $2,000 for the Sleeper and Standard vans and $3,000 for the Deluxe Pop-tops (Authority and imprint). This deposit will be refunded on the return of vehicle undamaged, clean and with a full tank of fuel as per rental agreement. This also applies to all accessories provided. Deposits can be reduced to $200 by paying an additional $20 per day (Sleeper and Standard) and to $300 by paying an additional $30 per day (Deluxe Pop-Top). The maximum you'll pay, regardless of the number of days hired is 14 days worth ie $280 (Sleeper and Standard) or $420 (Deluxe Pop-Top).
